Black Youth Resistance & Power Fellowship

The Black Youth Resistance & Power Fellowship is a youth leadership and arts-based civic engagement program created to inspire and equip the next generation of changemakers in Alabama.

Over the course of five months, participants will explore how civic systems work, learn their legal rights, build sustainable self-care practices, and express their visions for justice through art. The program blends education, creativity, and community to empower young people to lead meaningful change.

The program will culminate in a Youth Art Showcase, where participants will share artwork inspired by their learning and experiences.
