Black Family C.A.R.E.
Black Family C.A.R.E. (Caregivers Advocating for Resources and Equity) is a coalition organized by Project Say Something to uplift and advocate for childcare providers across Alabama—especially Black women, who make up a significant portion of the workforce yet are often underpaid and excluded from policy decisions. Endorsed by the Alabama NAACP, this initiative centers provider-led advocacy to push for fair wages, equitable childcare policies, and greater access to resources for families. Through community building, policy change, and direct engagement, Black Family C.A.R.E. is working to ensure that those who care for our children have the support, voice, and economic stability they deserve.
