Our Families, Our Business is Project Say Something’s family justice initiative, rooted in the belief that when Black mothers, families, and communities thrive, we all thrive. We advocate for policies and practices that protect families, honor bodily autonomy, and build a more just future.

Through the Black Mothers Fund, we provide direct support to mothers facing crises, helping them meet urgent needs with dignity and care. Our Doula Scholarship Program invests in both expecting mothers and aspiring birth workers, ensuring that every family has access to the culturally competent, compassionate care they deserve. And through our family justice policy work, we challenge systemic inequities, uplift community voices, and fight for reforms that prioritize the well-being of Black families.
This work is both personal and political: our families are our business, and our families are worth fighting for.
